MFG Announces Release of New 3D Model Viewer
Feature Release: MFG 3D Model Viewer
MFG is happy to announce the release of our 3D Model Viewer! With this new feature, you have the ability to view, edit, and update 3D files during quoting–all on MFG.com.
The 3D Model Viewer showcases all files uploaded with an RFQ, including 2D files, without the need for separate downloads or specialized software. This user-friendly feature will speed up your quoting process and improve accuracy. The MFG 3D Model Viewer comes equipped with:
- Measuring Tools: Measure lengths and distances within the 3D model.
- Cutting Planes View: Gain insight into how the 3D modeled part can be manufactured based on the 3D design.
- Editing Tools: Annotate models directly, providing valuable feedback to buyers.
To get started, navigate to the files section of any RFQ in your RFQ Marketplace view within your Dashboard. Look for the new box icon in the Part Files preview. Clicking on this icon will open the file in the new MFG 3D Model Viewer.
